This year, the fourth edition of Walk the Talk coincides with WHO’s 75th anniversary year and provides an opportunity to promote solidarity and to get moving for physical and mental health.

WHO is joining with the UN family, Member States, athletes, local sports clubs health partners and the Geneva community to celebrate the importance of healthy lifestyles and demonstrate measures to safely conduct public events.

This in-person event will invite participants to run or walk over two routes: 3 km and 4.2 km. People of all ages and abilities will start at Place des Nations from approximately 8.30am.

The 2023 edition will include special activations organized by Geneva's leading sporting clubs, the University Hospital of Geneva, and a wide range of other partners.

The event will also feature world-renowned Rwandan-British dancer, choreographer and development advocate Sherrie Silver, Norwegian hip-hop group sensation The Quick Style, Kenyan nurse Lukresia Robai, whose viral dance moves for children have warmed the hearts of millions of people around the world, and The Global Scrubs Choir of signing health workers.
