Dear Rotarians, Dear Friends,

Together with Rotary International we, from Rotaract Genève International, are happy to invite you to the Rotary Day at the United Nations Office in Geneva. In order to celebrate our relationship with the United Nations, our event will take place by the end of the 2017’s Peace Week. The Rotary Day theme will be the following: «Peace: making a difference».

If you are willing to know more about the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emergency aid and peace building come meet and exchange with experts.

Through a set of workshops the audience will be able to learn more about these subjects and interact with the speakers as well as with the other attendants. On November 11th, a special workshop developed by and for young leaders will highlight the importance of education to peace.

Rotary Day will count with the presence of Rotary International President and 6 champions of Peace will be awarded by John Hewko! This event is a great opportunity to learn more about some challenges of our current society and to improve your networking!

The night of the 11th will be animated by a closing party aiming to gather the next generation of Rotary leaders and will be opened to all Rotaractors and Rotarians present. More information about the closing party will follow.

We kindly invite you to forward this invitation within your Club and Representation. We are looking forward to meeting you for this extraordinary event.
